To use ShopSite, all you need is a Web browser. With your Web browser
you administer your store using ShopSite's intuitive user interface.
Because you don't need to load any software onto your PC, you can
update prices, view orders, or add products to your store from any
computer in the world. You can even check orders from your beach-side
cottage on the Riviera!
Context-Sensitive Help
Even the easiest programs take some getting used to. If you are ever in
a bind, context-sensitive ShopSite help is never more than a click
away. Simply click on the "?" on any page and you will be whisked to
information on the topic at hand. You can navigate the help table of
contents, find topics in the index, or use the help search feature to
locate just the information that you need.
Unrestricted Number of Products and Pages
ShopSite does not limit the number of page or products that you can add
to your store. Plus since ShopSite writes to static HTML files you
never have to worry about speed or search engine optimization.
More Information Pages
When you want to provide more information about a product without
taking up more space on the product list page, ShopSite Manager and Pro
allow you to create More Info Pages. A more info page gives each
product a page all to itself so you can include all the information
your customers might want.
Add eCommerce to Existing Web Sites
Do you already have a web site to which you want to add commerce? With
ShopSite you don't have to start from scratch. Simply open up your
existing page in the Web editing program of your choice (FrontPage,
PageMill, NotePad, etc.) and drag or paste order buttons from ShopSite
directly onto your existing page. Within a matter of minutes you can
have your existing Web site ready to take orders.
Copy Pages and Products
ShopSite makes it easy to copy existing content, making adding products and pages even easier.
Advanced Image Handling
The advanced image handling in ShopSite lets merchants create image
subdirectories and organize images and other media. You can select
images from easy drop-down lists, or use the more powerful popup window
to navigate and select images.
